Black Magic Taro, also known as Elephant Ears, has burgundy stems and charcoal black leaves. The leaves themselves are arrow-to-heart shaped and resemble the ears of an elephant. The leaves grow up to 3 feet in length, while the plant may grow 2 to 4 feet tall and should be kept in 1 to 6 inches of water. This plant makes a dramatic accent to the edge of any pond and is also a great choice for a container garden.
